Note: it is in the interest of all members that they should undergo a medical examination to ensure physical and mental fitness for vigorous exercise and diving, not only at the commencement of training, but periodically throughout their diving career.

Chronic ear and sinus problems may contraindicate diving, as well as chronic lung conditions such as asthma and bronchitis. Medication for conditions such as heart ailments, high blood pressure and diabetes, among others, may cause problems. If in doubt, please consult your doctor.
